Over the years I have had the opportunity to work for gear shops, outdoor company warehouses, and try out the different gear in a bunch of different environments; rock climbing, SUP, kayaking, ice climbing, and backpacking/hiking.
Gear is one of those things I love to learn about, use, and watch evolve. Twenty-five years ago when I started rock climbing I was learning about new cam devices and it has been fascinating to watch those evolve into the stronger, lighter version that we have today.
